Psalm 37:7
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
I want to focus on the first part of this passage.
Often times, as I have spoken about earlier, we fly by life trying to go as quickly as possible, ignoring the little things God has created that truly are amazing. My brother was driving to school and I peered up looking outside and saw a grain silo. It seemed to be highlighted by the sunrising. Then during Chemistry, Mrs. Bell passed around magnets, yes I am easily entertained. But what got me thinking was the repeling of the same sides of the magnets. What an amazing force! You wonder how God was able to come up with some of the stuff in life. I know that they repel because they have the same charges and I know that like charges repel, but WHY do things repel and attract? When we slow down in life and analyze each little thing in life, we could go insane, or we further understand the world God has created for us. We learn to appreciate the things we have and use in our daily routines. When was the last time you stopped and listened for God’s voice? To add to this, Rob Bell’s Noise:
