Last night I read Daniel 1-6. Something I guess Veggie Tales didn’t tell us was that ”Rack, Shack & Benny”, aka Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednago were all really good friends with Daniel. These four people were companions and were all metioned in the Bible for standing strong and not denying their faith in God.

The reason for this is because their Hebrew names glorified God and the current king wanted it to honor their gods, pretty much demons. that is why later on you read Daniel wants to keep his Hebrew name to honor God.
These men were very strong believers and were not hostile, although any servants or people serving in the palace of the King had to be… well let’s say depleted of his manhood. That’s why Daniel and the others weren’t married and obviously didn’t have any kids. This was done so their wasn’t as much… competition? among other servants and for obvious reasons with the queen.
